He completed his MS in Orthopedics from the Central Institute of Orthopaedics and earned a Diploma in Orthopedics from Vienna University. Dr. Srinivasan began his specialized medical practice in the 1980s and holds the distinction of being the first surgeon in the state to perform corrective surgery for scoliosis, a condition characterized by an abnormal curvature of the spine.

In 1972, Dr. Srinivasan established the Fracture and Orthopaedic Clinic in Malleshwaram, Bengaluru.
