About Dr. Kamini Kurpad

Dr. Kamini Kurpad is an experienced orthopedic surgeon with over 21 years in medical practice, including 20 years as a specialist. She completed her MBBS and Diploma in Orthopedics from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal, and later earned her DNB in Orthopedics from St. Martha's Hospital, Bangalore. Dr. Kamini has pursued advanced training with fellowships in knee arthroscopy, ligament reconstruction, and pediatric orthopedic surgery at the University Hospital Dresden, Germany. She also completed a traveling fellowship in pediatric orthopedics in Mumbai.

In 2004, Dr. Kamini joined the practice of Dr. K. Srinivasan as a Senior Registrar and is now a Consultant Orthopedic Surgeon and partner at KS Orthopedic Foundation, Malleshwaram. She is recognized as the only female orthopedic surgeon in Karnataka with specialized expertise in trauma care, complex upper limb surgeries, pediatric orthopedics, and knee arthroscopic procedures.

Dr. Kamini is committed to community service and has organized free medical camps in collaboration with NGOs to provide orthopedic care to underserved regions in Karnataka and neighboring areas.
